Herr BenT thus said:

>couldn't you make your future comments such that it does not suggest bias >against a specific nationality?

Yo -- BenT, when did you get so PC?

Bill was stating FACT. National bias? Who cares! It's a fact of life! Indisputable, solid, stand the test of time cold hard fact. You go to Mexico in the "wrong" areas day or night and you're putting your life in danger. Wear a solid gold Rolex Daytona, and you're 100% CERTAIN to get your arm cut off. Of course, the same applies to East L.A., I understand. Are we going to dance around reality to be politically correct from now 'til who knows when? Sure, its possible to go through Mexico in a nice van, with nice Hella's hanging off the front, and nothing come up missing. But, (and I harken back to Ken Wilfy's grace or stupidity thread) to come through Mexico or East L.A. or the ghetto in nice VW van left over night unprotected is asking for more than political correctness. Its betting against the dreadful depravity of human nature that is plainly evident. And that is a bet a man will lose. To ignore reality provides further support for the proposition of Hegel: "History teaches us that man learns nothing from history."

BenT, nothing personal, but I take issue when PC hides the truth.

HK <completely flame proof, baby!>
