I consistently get around 300/325 miles per tank when doing strictly highway driving. I get around 200 miles for mixed highway/stop-and-go driving. That equates to about 20mpg highway/15 city.

I have an '87 Westfalia. Only non-stock mods are a header exhaust/low restriction muffler and the modified ECU chip. However, my mileage was the same before I added the chip.

I have heard that these vehicles can get better than 20mpg in other parts of the country/world where the gasoline doesn't have certain "environmentally friendly" additives like MTBE. But I don't know that for sure.

Dan
