Ric,

I live in Orlando, and would recommend a campground located at Port Canaveral ( a bit South of Daytona), Jetty Park. I's a county park located right on the ocean, operated by Honeywell. It's right at the cruise ship docks. If your lucky enough to be there during a shuttle launch you couldn't ask for a better place to view from (unless your inside the Cape)
