Ron,

You could install the rectangular Euro H4 lights. However, the cost is $330
and you might not be able to get them before you leave in a week. See

Or you could install Hella aux driving lights--these would augument the poor
low beams a bit.

Or you could just avoid driving at night while in Mexico--I've heard others
give this advice because of the poor road conditions in some areas.
