I agree with Ron about Jetty Park, though I've never camped there I have swam and watched a shuttle launch from the beach. I don't know of anything on Daytona Beach but farther north on A1A above Flagler Beach there are a couple of state parks and some private campgrounds on or near the beach. Anastasia State Park in St. Augustine is also very nice. The Florida State park guide is on the web. Remember it is tourist and "snowbird" season that time of year in Florida so the campgrounds are busier now than in the summer.
