Howdy everyone, I have a friend who is visiting in her 91 westy. She is having trouble getting into first and/or third. The linkage seems to be hitting between 1st and 3rd.

We've tried the archive for 2 hours with no luck. We are leaning towards the shift rod bushing near the tranny.

I know someone out there has seen this before. Please tell me it the linkage and not the tranny.

TIA, Ken Wyatt 82 westy slc, UT
