I just had a ProRac roof rack system installed by a local Volks <BR>
dealer. Installed were the two bars for an escape pod plus two <BR>
attachment points near the front so that one bar can be moved forward <BR>
to accommodate a 17 ft canoe.<BR>

I was somewhat surprised when the labor bill came to $450 for 6 hours <BR>
of labor. Perhaps that's in line but it seems excessive for drilling <BR>
6 holes and screwing in 6 bolts.<BR>

Has anyone else had any experience with this. A search on &quot;prorac&quot; in <BR>
the archives turned up 0 hits...weird, I thought I had found info on <BR>
ProRac before.<BR>
