Subject: what did I do wrong? brake bleeder question
Content-type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

I am frustrated beyond belief. I bought a vacuum pump and constructed a hydraulic bleeding chamber just like the diagram on the package illustrated. When I tried to use it on my 91 Cab to bleed the brakes, all I got were bubbles, bubbles, and more bubbles and about 4 0z of fluid I guess. And that took forever. I was trying to change the fluid and was expecting to run through the liter of fluid in no time flat. I was expecting to get to both the Cab & Vinnie, but no way. I ended up with my wife providing power to push the fluid through by pushin the brake pedal just like regular. But I need to be able to do this one man style. I tried with the master cyl top on and off. rear on ramps and off ramps. Ended up with a leak in the jar and no light feeling like a yutz. Tried to call Ken and Karl but Ken didn't answer and I couldn't find Karl's phone number. What did I do wrong? Anyone?
