Like any modern vehicle there is a lot of "stuff" on the 2000 EV and
sooner or later a lot of it will break and be expensive to fix.  I
assume this is a used vehicle, so check with http://kbb.com for fair
pricing, and pose your question to the Eurovan list.  There is a link to
it on http://vanagon.com under "mail lists."
