Subject: Stalling after warmup in cold.
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi Folks,

While driving in to work today I had to pull over to the side of the road in my '90 camper because it lost power. I'd been having problems last evening when pulling away from a stop off of idle. Idle is normal but when I accelerate it either goes slowly or dies. If I turn the starter it will only start if I push down on the accelerator and hold it and then engage the first gear. So back to this morning. I found in the engine compartment that the snorkel from the air cleaner to the air distributor had been disconnected and it took me a while to get it right. I was able to get to work but when I checked drivability at lunch time, the engine still would stall after warmup. I'm looking for suggestions as I review the archives. I really don't need this nuisance now as it is the only drivable car I have now.

Thanks for the help. I you need further data, let me know. OH! I changed to 10w-30w oil last night but I don't think that has any bearing this.

Thanks!

Steven
