Subject: I want to pull my tank... HELP!

Chris,

I just went through the same thing myself. Had the tank on my 81 out three times before I realized that is wasn't the grommets or hoses (actually it was at first) but a leaky, corroded tank. Took it to a local radiator shop and they coated the inside with something that stopped the leaking. Cost $80 but cheaper than a new tank.

The first time I took the tank out it took me two days but by the forth time I could take it out and put it back in in under two hours.

Good luck Ron Hill 81 Westy Macon GA

PS: If I could just get the oil and transmission fluid leaks stopped the easy I would be happy.
