This fall I used my Syncro to tow an 84 Westy (automatic) 400 miles from IN to IA. In order to avoid removal of the rear half axles, I rented a 2 wheel tow dolly from U-Haul. ($70 one way.) The towing was no trouble at all. Hooking up the Westy on the dolly, including secure tie down straps, lights, etc. took about 1/2 hour. (I already had a U-Haul compatable wiring harness.) Freeway driving was very comfortable at 55mph, even with a cross wind. Without the wind, cruising at 60 mph would have been quite attainable. Gas mileage averaged 13 mpg.
