Now's a hell of a time to be thinking about doing something like this!:>) Oh, you must be in the tropics, or somewhere neat, where there might be considerable warmth. Anyway, last summer, I wiped down the bottom of my unit with mineral spirits, using a skuff pad soaked with it. Let it evaporate, and then sprayed bed liner to the underside of the van. It is a polyurethane rubber,and it seems to be pretty bullet proof,as it hasen't moved or fell off yet. My wheel wells and areas that I can see with out crawling under the van are intact, and rust free. The bedliner is made by the Morton Co., and available at all better body shop supply houses.
