Listees, I have a friend who bought a GTI (mid eighties) that has a crank bearing leak. He can't afford to have it fixed and doesn't know how. Unfortunately, I'm his best source of information and I've never really had a look at one. Can anyone help with information about procedure, technique, problems, or any positive advice you would care to offer. This is a good person with limited resources.
