The box hinges open away from the side of the van toward the engine. The fuel pump relay is on the right side looking toward the van's front - i.e., closest to the engine. The relay on the left, closest to the van's side, is the current supply relay. According to our Great Master Bentley, this is true for your '84 Digijet as well as the later Digifants (at least thru 89). Jim Creech > It's in the black box on the port side of the firewall.
