Howdy again List! I did indeed search the archives for this -- but I just want to clear up the mystery since there were so many opinions. Last weekend, I ran the rear heater fan (for the first time since owning the vehicle - usually, I get too much heat from the front to justify running the rear). I smelled that sweet smell, and remembered that it was probably a bad thing. However, I don't see anything leaking into the van itself, certainly the rug nor the pressboard below the rug is soaked with coolant, so where exactly should I be looking for this leak? I should perhaps also point out that the smell went away after a few minutes of running the rear heater fan -- so is this an isolated incident from lack of use, or is this a sign that I should start replacing hoses?
