Yes Ken, that's what I've been told. Also that the fuel pump runs
constantly, but normally you only hear it when it's building up pressure.
Joel suggested to check my fuel pump relays, and that water in the gas can
make the pump noisy.
Both relays look good. I jiggled the connections to make sure they were
tight, and added a bottle of dry gas. No problems since, but I've only
driven it about 5 miles. Not much of a test. But I'm keeping my fingers
crossed.
