Any things to see avoid on the way? Worthwhile side excursions/day trips? We'll be staying in Phoenix for the bulk of the time, and swinging through Las Cruces to see Grandpa on the way back. Driving to Phoenix straight through to get there, stopping somewhere overnight on the way back. Probably in Las Cruces and then another long trek back.

Extra Info: Our 10th Anniversary (were married in Phoenix) 3 kids (who are very inquisitive and interested in different cultures) 85 Vanagon MV that I am nervous about the mountains?

Thanks!

JW (who is going mainly to see Camelback VW) :-) -- 010101010101010101010101010101010101010101010101010101010101 Jeff Wiegand - head cook, electroponics, inc. jeff@electroponics.com - http://www.electroponics.com/ The Sub-Urban Journal - http://www.electroponics.com/news/ Join the Music Revolution - http://www.cd-kiosk.com/ 010101010101010101010101010101010101010101010101010101010101
