Doug, I no longer live on any of your proposed routes, but I want to make sure that you are prepared to travel in these areas at this time of the year. Be sure to carry a couple of sleeping bags (per person) and other emergency supplies. Water, food, maybe a small propane heater, cell phone, etc. Stop for fuel often if you get into bad weather, and pay attention to weather advisories. Do not take unnecessary risks. People still die in storms out here. Larry
