This is what I've done, since I've lost mine a number of times. There use to be an after market cap by Shunk (?sp?) I believe it was a 408 but they no longer make it so I've obtained a licking cap from a junk vanagon. Drive the pin out of the end of the spud in the cap and remove the casing (on the inside of the cap). Then stick your key into the cap and turn it, since your key is different not all the pins will drop, but you now take a file and file off the pins that remain up. Reassemble and you have a locking gas cap again. Granted not all the pins are engaged but it'll keep the rift-raft out and it looks original and it'll cost you about a dollar and about 20 minutes of your time. Jere 90 GL 88 GL
