Hello list- We just successfully completed a 1000+ mile trip from York, PA to Orlando Fla. Twice during the trip the dreaded flashing led on the water temp gauge started flashing. Both times I checked both the tank and the overflow and both seemed normal. Neither appeared low and they were quite cool even after 12+ hours of continuous driving. The Temp gauge stayed at a normal level both times. After checking the levels and plugging and unplugging the sensor the light went out. Before we leave for home after the 1st of the year I am replacing the pressure cap and the sensor. Any other Ideas...? I don't think that there is any thing major happening but seeing that light flashing in the middle of the trip sends my heart into my stomach. Thanks for your help. |
