No, the hole I am talking about is not directly on the pump itself, but if you put your finger mid-way behind the pump and move it directly forward, (towards the front of the van), it is on the block, underneath the spark plug and one of the small coolant shroud fittings. The hole is probably about 3/4" in diameter. From looking at it there is also a curvature underneath it that looks as if there is an allowance made for a part to screw in? or maybe a ratchet head to be used? I don't know....
