Hi Shawn, There are no relays on our vans. Head light current goes through the ignition switch, light switch, bright / dim switch to the fuse panel and out to the head lights. Your problem seems to be in the bright / dim switch. Just under the steering wheel. Ken Lewis has written a method to add relays to our lighting system. His method much improves the standard lighting on late model vans. We used his relay system on my son Tom's 86 westy and the lights are very noticeably better. So what is the weather like where you are?

Darrell
