Subject: Chilly Diesel
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

My '82 diesel is back up and running with a good blower for the front heater (no rear heater) and the enormous mouse-house removed from the front heater ducting. All chewed wires repaired and burned up bits (from flaming mouse-house) replaced/repaired but....... The heat is pathetic. This is my first diesel anything. The blower is working great but the air just is not hot. Is this normal? The temp gauge on the dash is just below center and the van is running well. I do hear a gurgle once in a while from the heater core even though my mechanic bled the system. Any thoughts? I already bought warmer gloves and a hat! Thanks, Mike
