Subject: Re: text only, and transmission question

I've just gotten a new computer, and think I have everything set for text only when using outlook express, my main mail program. I occasionally need to use hotmail, however. I cannot find anywhere in there to set (or even check) for MIME or text formats. Can someone give me a clue on that, and verify that this program is indeed in text form.

A Vanagon question...I have an 84 automatic. The seals between the transmission and final drive began leaking. I removed the transmission and changed the seal (leaving the final drive in the van). I refilled the transmission and it is still slipping badly on the shifts. I thought I'd drain it and refill again to dilute the remainder of the gear lube that was sucked into the tranny. There is obviously no way to drain all of the fluid because a large amount remains in the torque converter. Ideas, anyone?

Thanks on both parts. Steve Sandlin http://www.steveslockshop.com '84 Wolfsburg Westy '79 Transporter "00 New Beetle
