Learned something new from my garage mechanic yesterday. He talked about a BIG BORE kit that was used to convert the 1.9 to a 2.1. From all of the talk on the list, this would seem to create problems in a lot of areas, most of which would be the ability of the cooling system to handle the extra heat (since the engine doesn't have an oil cooler). I would like to get further inputs on this topic, especially about any BIG BORE kits that are used for converting a 1.9 to a 2.1. William |
