Looks like Flash Gordon revisited (you older folks, remember the opening segment of the show with the stupid little model rocket with fire out the tail about the size of a single flaring match? We used to laugh at that). This aerodynamic design (?) might make sense if we're talking about 120 mph, but I doubt that would be the case. Maybe VW is unduly enamoured with that relatively new Chrysler retro vehicle (whose name I have forgotten). I, too, will stick with my 87 Vanagon for aesthetic appeal. Jim Creech
