Hi Volks, If the 108mm CV joints will operate at a "higher angle" does this imply that in order to take full advantage one would have to raise the ride height on one's vanagon by adding to the distance between the spring mount faces. (longer springs, stiffer springs, air lifts or something similar). Conversely if one did raise the ride height say 10% what would the angle difference be and would it be significant with respect to the longevity of the standard CVs? Til we know it's all just a guess....However if you install bigger brakes the vanagon will stop better. Who's got those bigger brake sets? pensioner |
