hi i have been subscribed to the list for sometime now, and the information has helped me a great deal with my bus.... however i have yet to post anything....that all changes with this email....my 1985 westy blew her head gasket today! i feel that now i am officially a vanagon owner....:( anyway I was wondering what a good price would be to have just the gasket on the one head that is blown replaced.... I got an estimate from someone i trust for $600 ....is this about right? please let me know...also how much does the gasket itself cost? 60$? 150$ ?? i dont know...anyway I still love my car despite this unfortunate turn of events....only after this is all over i am sure i will love it even more.... daniel
