Especially given that they (in my experience) routinely underpack their shipments. I do considerable mail-order business of one type or another, and Bus Depot stands out as by far the worst -- in fact the only bad -- packer of the bunch (and that includes others that use old newspapers for packing). My assumption is that they are aware of this and are betting the percentages, knowing that any UPS claims will be denied for inadequate packing and the responsibility thrown back onto them.

I have not had any problems getting them to adjust for shipping damage, though. I still think that everyone including them would be happier if they did a decent packing job.
