Hi Phil, An anti-sway bar added to the rear of a westy will help stabilize it when passing or meeting trucks and it will handle curves very nicely. Even with a luggage rack and a big loaded rocket box on top with a couple of bikes it will be very stable. First however it is important to have tires, shocks and other suspension items in proper condition. I have a gl van and a double cab that I feel don't require a rear anti-sway bar but like the sway bar on a westy.
