Bus Depot has the inexpensive H4 option which will certainly give you better lighting. If you want to make your 85 more European we do have the Bosch lights from Europe for the round headlight Vanagons. What is the difference - basically not much other than the park light [AKA city light] is at the bottom of the reflector in the European light. Both lights give the same output, just the Euro-Bosch units are the real-McCoy!

I just happened to notice that one of the high beams is out on my '85 Westy. Now that's all the excuse I need to consider an upgrade, right?

I don't want to change my grill or do any fancy re-wiring. So.....what are my options? Would the H4 upgrade from, say, Bus Depot be a good way to go? What else might I consider?

Any advice you all might share would be appreciated.

Thanks ......Phil in Bakersfield
