I'm not sure what VW is really planning or if VW of America is brain dead. If you ever go to Germany there is a lot of really interesting VWs that would sell well here if given a chance.

- Caddy Small sized pickup with an open or enclosed bed - Polo Same size as a Rabbit - Lupo Same size as a Spring with 3L per 100km fuel consumption

The T4 or Eurovan pickup would be another good seller here... WAY more practical than a F-250!

I knew that the Sharan was a good looking vehicle that we were missing out on but... a 4Motion 1.8T? VW is doing this just to tease right? Gary

Let's just think about this one for a moment! Wouldn't you want to have this in your driveway? I have a client who is just bugging me to find a way to get a 4Motion 1.8T Sharan to Canada ( impossible by the way ). I admit the T4 (Eurovan) is a nice van but the Sharan is a lot cheaper (at $27,800 USD) and in a lot of ways better as a people hauler which is the main reason why people buy these things. I think this would put a huge dent in Chrysler's Caravan sales. The Sharan is actually a joint venture between Ford and Volkswagen - the Ford Galaxy is the same vehicle. Seat also make a version of this as well.

I have found references to a VW "Sharan." Is this the new van everyone is talking about? Looks like just another "me too" minivan. There is a photo at
