I am learning from Per to read ETOS/EKTA 2 times and double check it another 2 times before I am allowed to post any more.

Yes, the wrong part number being stamped on the part must be why it got shipped to Bus Depot.

NOTICE: The part number I posted for the 108 rear axle, as Per mentioned in his post a couple of days ago, was actually of the 2WD axel. Mine was indeed the 108 rear axle but it had the wrong part number on it. Do not attempt to order the part number I provided but use Per's part number instead if attempting to get 108 rear axles through VW. (Don't attempt to get these rear axles through VW, however, since it is better to buy them used or aftermarket, but that is another story.)

To reiterate what Per said and to correct my earlier post:

251 501 201 G is the 16" rear axle with 108mm CVs 251 501 203 G is the 14" rear axle with 100mm CVs that almost all of us have

The 16" CVs in my garage are labled 251 501 203 G but this is the wrong label!

Also, my oversize CV joints have part numbers on them of [VW: 443 407 331D, LOBRO: 4988] but the correct EKTA factory part number for the 16" cv joint 431 498 103 C as Per pointed out. Possibly the difference being whether the CV comes with a boot or not. Not sure.
