When I inherited the list, it was set to allow anyone to post. I tried closing the list with poor results. Basically a royal pain in the a$$, with people complaining about having to subscribe their 13 different e-mail addresses and setting them to "NOMAIL" so they can post from anywhere they wanted or them not understanding why I had to review and forward their posts if they were non-subscribers.

So now I get complaints about the spammage...either way (from my perspective), people are going to complain.

For every SPAM that makes it through, about 15-20 get rejected, thanks to ListServ's anti-spam features. There is a little fine tuning that I may do to improve the kill ratio, but I'm pretty happy with the results.
