What would happen to an owner of an engine-converted van when he goes for an enhanced emissions test? Here in AZ they look in a computer for the standard engines fitted to a Vanagon. How do you explain to them that your van has a non-standard engine and what would then happen? These guys are only interested in getting as many vehicles through the station as quickly as possible. I doubt they could enter a new engine into the computer.
