Subject: Re: David. Do US radar detectors work in Germany, Austria

I lived in Europe for 10 years, just moving back to the states 3 years ago. I had a US purchased Cobra Trapshooter mounted (out of sight)in my Westy and it sure worked fine in all Scandinavian countries, Germany and France. It beeped at all the right places, and it was ( well 15 years ago) only $49.00 at JC whitney. No need to purchase the so called International ones. Justb don't mount them where they were visible. Mine was under a tissue box on the dash.
