this is one of the wrecked-car auction folks. now YOU can't just go buy these buses yourself, unless you just happen to be a registered buyer, but you might find someone locally who is and goes to these things. anyway, right now there are 9 1980-91 vanagons ...3 in portland, or; 2 in seattle, wa; 1 in kansas city, mo; one in northern nj; and one in east bay (?). note that california is not on there ... you have to click on a separate search at http://www.iaai-bid.com for them.

anyway, it's a thought. :)
