to all list meembers--especially those in the northeast!! My poor 84 GL vanagon has finally let go.. It runs like a champ but the selector shaft on the transmission (you know the star cog that the shift rods all connect to?) has finally worn out. I NEED A TRANNY!!! Anyone else have this problem, and if so what did you do? I can buy the part for $250 at the dealer and then pay madd cash for labor, or go to Parts Place (via phone order) and buy a tranny (rebuilt). Any suggestions would be helpful!!!! PEACE OUT,, BRIAN

Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com

|
