To change to digest format you send an email to <listserv@gerry.vanagon.com> *not* the list... containing these commands: set vanagon digest info refcard end In order, the first command sets you to digest mode; the second emails you a reference card of listserv commands; and the third tells listserv to ignore anything it finds below, such as your signature. Before you go to digest mode, though, I have to tell you that informed opinion (mine <g>) is that digest mode usually make the list harder to deal with, not easier. In your case, if you have only web access to your mail that is probably not true; but then dealing with *any* significant quantity of mail through the web is my idea of torture, even with a fast connection. Doing it with a modem connection is to me like hitting myself on the head with a hammer because it feels so good when I stop. Ok, rant off... david At 04:03 PM 1/10/2001, Jenny Loerzel wrote: >Hello, >I went to the vanagon.com website to look for more info regarding switching >to the digest vs. getting lots of emails and found no reference to the >digest anywhere.
