I hear that if you push-start (the word "bump" scares me -- I hope you're talking about letting in the clutch smoothly while the vehicle is moving?) a Syncro in granny-gear that it definitely *will* disembowel the transmission...personally I prefer second gear to minimize this sort of nastiness. david
