I have read with sympathy recent posts about hiccoughing and hestitating in the Digijet and Digifant systems. Those who were on the list a year ago or so will recall that I wnet throgh a long period of woe trying to solve the same porblems in my 83.5 w/ 1.9 engine. I tried about all the fixes suggested recently. Finally a different ECU and a different, complete ignition wiring harness (both second hand) did the trick. The famed "capacitor fix" had no effect. Now I am beginning to see a little hesitiation off stops again. Those with problems might also want to check all vaccuum lines and the rubber boot on the AFM. Mine had a split that was not visible because it was hidden in the fold. I fixed it with a "Goop" product. No more air leak there. Cheers, Woody PS The Haaka snow tires are terrific. |
