Yep, The bell housing can be welded,if; (A) You have in stock, a mig or tig welder (B) You know someone with a mig or tig welder. (C) You pay a welder to do the job. That's it! However I would suggest taking it to a welding shop and have them look at it first, to determine whether or not the area in question, is accessible.
