Right-o! IIRC the 8mm x 1.25 Keen-sert requires a 12mm x 1.25 tap. I could trudge through the snow out to the garage to check, but... The 'odd-ball' bit comes from the standard taps in a metric t&d set being 12mm x 1.50 and 12mm x 1.75.
