Stuart wrote My understanding is that Boston Bob is in the process of developing a 'half Lilley' offering that may be available soon. Stuart and the list the cost of a stock rebuilt engine is $2050 plus core at Boston Engine at least as long as my main bearings supplies hold out I am at this point selling 1.9& 2.1 engines with head and camshaft upgrades The 1.9 & 2.1 engines are assembled with the 2.1 heads. The head work includes mild porting behind the intake valve and some reshaping of the chamber. I also use the serti style cutters for cutting the seats and because they are a blade instead of stones I can shape the seat with a radius below the valve and in doing this improve the air flow all the way threw the valves opening and closing. the intake port now flows at 350ths the way it did at 450 ths with the stock port. I am reginding new stock 1.9 cams to the 2.1 spec for the 1.9 engines. In the 2.1 engines I am offering the lilley cam and lifters Bob Donalds http:www.bostonengine.com as always all right reserved |
