You don't want it to cure hard. If it did it would not flex with changes in ambient temperature and/or differential movement between the panels which would result in cracking and you would be back at "square one".

Anybody ever use 3M "fast+Firm" body sealer?

The stuff seems like it never cures. I have had it on my seams for a day and a half and its still soft.(dry on outside)
