The POR-15 folks have a seam sealer you might want to check out. I have never tried either the seam sealer or any f the rust treatments but a "rust thread" that was up here a while back had some folks praising POR-15 to the skies. I have never seen it in any FLAPS but they do have a web site.

Well i dremeled out old seams and filled them in with "3M Fast and Firm" When I did it, it was sunny for 3 hrs. then cold- front came and rained so i covered it with a tarp. Its been drying like 30 hrs. now and is still somewhat soft/ plyable. It says on the 3M tube "24 minutes to dry".

seam sealer is never supposed to be completely rock hard. its supposed to stay somewhat pliable. you wont have a problem with it if you dont use it to fill huge rust holes!! its just designed for small cracks and seams.
