Um, excuse me... I'd like to ask a question. Mr *hesitantly* Lilley (gee what do I owe you for that?), are you telling me that if I modify my stupid vanagon engine in anyway that you have modified yours, that I owe you money? I think you should supply us a list of things we are now not allowed to do due to this strange breed of copyright infringment, becuase I'm having second thoughts about putting that bottle of STP in my engine now, gotta be carefull these days.

Well, for those of you who may remember, I was recently graced with a FREE 85 weekender wolfsburg, that the PO thought was dead for good. Poor fellow, I did not have the heart to tell him that all it needed was a 75$ computer. The nice fellows up at Bug Aid here in Seattle were good enuf to point that out to me, and we plugged it in and away I went. Yesterday I bought an exhaust pipe for 40, and fixed the roaring exhaust.

Now after driving it a few days, I've decided I like it quite a bit. There is just a "feel" that these things have that is quite charming. They have a very solid way of going, very smooth, quiet, they almost feel like they are turbine powered or something (ok, very small turbine). I'm looking forward now to installing a full kitchen kit (Pensioner, where did you go?), so if anyone has a westy kit they are willing to part with please let me know. Also will be doing exhaust upgrade, anyone use a hypo style type 4 bus one piece? Also upgrading the ignition to MSD, any thoughts on MSD vs Jacobs engineering? Then, there is the air filter issue, KN or MSDS???? Are KYB"S a good choice for shocks???

Thanks people! Mark Sheldon
