Eurovans have been manufactured in Argentina pretty successfully for several years now, for commercial purposes only. The most popular version is a 1.9 Tdi version. There is a high roof version as well. They are called "Transporter" there. Check out VW of Argentina's web site for more. This also where the transmission units for the new beetles are manufactured.
