Actually you're mistaken to use the plural pronoun 'they' ... it was only
Terry...


as to why.... it is common in debates that when the person runs short on
logic they resort to name calling.... in the field of logic it is called
'argumentum ad hominim' (excuse the spelling as my Latin is a bit rusty)...
and is consider a fallacy.


but this is obviously not the response you wanted....
I believe I detect a rhetorical reason for your question so why don't you
answer it yourself... that might be more straight forward and honest on your
part.
